Please note – In line with the latest Government guidance, to help keep staff and visitors safe, we are not taking bookings for room hire until further notice.
Daytime Room Hire
‘Rafters’ is a small meeting room accessed via stairs at the end of the restaurant. The room has an angled roof with beams and a view over the golf course. It can seat a maximum of 24 people in theatre layout, or 16-20 people around a table. Equipment including flipchart, digital projector and screen can be provided.
Evening Barn Hire
With an easily accessible location, plenty of parking and seating for up to 120 people, our beautiful 18th Century barn can be hired for evening functions from 7pm to midnight. There are two flexible options for hire; barn hire only or alongside professional catering from Seasons Restaurant.
Seasons Restaurant offers a professional catering service for corporate groups. All food is freshly prepared on the premises from ingredients that are sustainably and locally sourced where possible. Catering can be tailored to the individual needs of each group. Please phone the restaurant direct on 01425 470537 to discuss your catering requirements.
Orienteering: An ideal team building activity; either follow a pre-determined course or find as many markers as possible within a time limit.
Cycle Hire: Take a leisurely ride along the waymarked cycle trails or challenge yourself on our ‘through the forest’ singletrack route. Alternatively combine your cycling with orienteering and try mountain bike orienteering. Map packs are available from the Visitor Centre, priced £3.00 each.
Go Ape Tree Top Adventure: As well as being great for family and friends, Go Ape is also a brilliant way to escape the office. Get in touch with the Go Ape Events Team to get your team out in the forest. You can rely on the friendly staff to guarantee you a day out to remember. Your day could include the ‘classic’ Tree Top Adventure, Forest Segway, shelter hire and much more. Email email@example.com or visit the Go Ape website.
Golf: Everyone is welcome to play on the Moors Valley 18-hole golf course. The Golf Club at the Golf Centre also serves food and has a licensed bar.
If you are thinking about planning a charity or business event within Moors Valley Country Park and Forest please see our Guidance for Event Organisers page for details.
Written permission must be granted by the land-owning organisation; i.e. the Forestry Commission for events to be held in Moors Valley Forest, and East Dorset District Council for those to be held in the Country Park.
