Things to do
Due to the golf course operator (Mack Trading) going into liquidation, the course is closed for the near future. East Dorset District Council are looking at options as to how to operate the course. It is unlikely that the course will be open again before November. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
The 18-hole course extends along the valley of the Moors River, it covers a total of 6337 yards and includes four par 5s, ten par 4s and four par 3s.
Everyone is welcome to play on the Moors Valley golf course and to join the Moors Valley Golf Club who hold competitions for all standards of play.
The course is open everyday of the year (except 25th December) weather permitting. From 8.00am (7.30am summer weekends) to dusk.
Please note: the pitch and putt course is sometimes reserved for adult and junior sessions so please phone to check availability.
Your parking will be validated at the Golf Centre when playing the 18-hole golf course. Give your car registration number to the staff in the Golf Shop when you arrive and check in to your tee time. Parking charges do apply if you are playing the pitch and putt course or footgolf.
The park entrance barriers will raise automatically. After the barriers please follow the road to the left signposted to the Golf Course. You will go through another set of barriers; please take care as children crossing. You will find the car park at the end of this drive.
