Moors Valley Golf Course – Covid-19 Update (26/5/20)
Moors Valley Golf Course is open for Golf Season Ticket Holders ONLY with restrictions in place.
We will update this website and the Moors Valley Golf Facebook page when the situation changes for pay and play customers, which is being reviewed weekly – next update early June.

Online booking is not currently available. Please be aware that we are experiencing a large number of enquiries, we are very sorry for any delay you may experience.

- Check in by the Golf & Activity Centre – social distancing measures in place.
- Golf Club House remains closed at this time.
- Changing rooms remain closed. Toilet is available, with a safe queuing system in place outside. Sorry, lockers are not currently available.
- Advise golfers to bring their own gloves and hand sanitiser.

Play Safe, Stay Safe
- Please remain in your car until 10 mins before your tee time.
- Please start promptly at your allotted tee time – 2 ball only.
- Running late? Please call us from your car on arrival.
- Maintain safe social distancing at all times.
- Always follow signage and staff guidance.
- Please leave the flagstick in the hole.
- Do not pick up stray golf balls.
- Please leave the facility immediately after you have finished your round.
Any golfer not adhering to the Play Safe, Stay Safe and golf course rules will be asked to leave the course and will not be permitted to re-book a tee time.
This 18-hole course extends along the valley of the Moors River, it covers a total of 6337 yards and includes four par 5s, ten par 4s and four par 3s. An 11 hole option is also available. Practice nets (*not currently open) and a putting green complement the facilities.
Designed by Hawtree over 30 years ago, the mature course is both challenging and enjoyable for golfers of all abilities. Each hole has its own character, adding variety and interest within an attractive countryside setting.
Everyone is welcome to play on the Moors Valley golf course and to join the Moors Valley Golf Club who hold competitions for all standards of play.

Golf and Activity Centre
Home to the Council’s Health and Activity Team, visitors are welcome to pop in to find out about local opportunities to help you get active – including community health walks, health cycle rides, accessible cycling, orienteering and exercise referral. Full details of all the activities can be found in the 2020 Activate Coast and Countryside Outdoor Physical Activity Guide.
There is also the chance to enjoy a free game of table tennis. You will find a selection of golf essentials in the shop, alongside equipment for Nordic Walking, yoga, and fitness.
Your parking will be validated at the Golf Centre when playing the 18-hole golf course. Give your car registration number to the staff when you check in for your tee time.
On arrival the park entrance barriers will raise automatically. After the barriers, please follow the road to the left signposted to the Golf Course. You will go through a speed control point; please take care as children crossing. You will find the car park at the end of this drive.
