Tractor Ted revs up at Moors Valley Country Park (June 2017)

Tractor Ted, the UK’s favourite little green tractor, will be bringing farm-based fun, games and activities to Moors Valley Country Park and Forest near Ringwood on Sunday 9 July.

As well as a Tractor Ted bouncy castle visitors can try driving a mini digger, take a tractor driving test, go welly wanging, meet some farm animals and even climb aboard a real John Deere 6125M tractor! Better still there is no need to book – simply turn up and join in the fun.

“We are really thrilled to welcome Tractor Ted and his friends to Moors Valley” said Emma Reeks, Education Ranger, “He is a well-loved character and a great way for kids to learn about farming, animals and where our food comes from.

“Tractor Ted is practically a local having been created locally in the South West over 10 years ago. His real life farm adventure stories have been delighting children ever since, helping to develop their knowledge about great British food and our wonderful countryside while also having lots of fun!”

Since his very first appearance Tractor Ted has grown into one of the nation’s favourite characters selling over 90,000 DVDs and 40,000 books each year. There is even a Tractor Ted app full of jigsaws, books, stickers, films and a game.

Tractor Ted is the latest in a long line of children’s characters to feature at Moors Valley. Visitors can also enjoy the interactive Gruffalo Spotters Trail and download a specially developed app to bring 3D animations to life and take photos alongside their favourite characters.
