Limited Play Facilities Available

Updated 5 December 2020

Our two play parks reopened on Monday 6 July, although the play trail remains partially closed.

We are pleased to continue to welcome visitors to our play areas, but we have introduced a few new procedures to reflect the current guidance.

Play Parks Guidance

  • Visitors are advised to respect all social distancing guidance
  • Sanitiser is provided on all Play Park entry points and we would encourage all users to use before and after entry
  • Some play equipment, that may cause overcrowding or increase the risk of contamination, will remain closed
  • Benches are available, but we are asking that people remain in their own social groups
  • Play equipment, within these 2 play areas, will be disinfected daily
  • If the play areas are too busy, to help maintain social distancing, please come back later
  • Further play opportunities are available on the picnic areas or in the wider Forest *Please note, the Play Trail remains partially closed.*

We encourage visitors to respect Government guidance, maintain social distancing as much as possible and make use of other areas of the park if these areas are too busy.

Play Trail Guidance

Despite our play areas re-opening, some play structures on our play trail remain closed for your safety. We have opened the structures where social distancing is possible, but we would encourage you to enjoy other fun activities during your visit!

In line with government guidance, we have opened 9 structures along the trail – some with modifications.

The play structures that are currently open (some with modifications) are listed below

  • Spider
  • Crocodile Crossing
  • Enchanted Woods
  • Hawk House
  • Timber
  • Tree Top Trail
  • Baba Yaga
  • Snakes
  • Hollow Log

We reserve the right to close these play areas at any time if the guidance is not adhered to.

Please help us to stay open and follow Government guidance.
