Refund Policy for Dorset Council online bookings.

Cancellation of a coach/minibus booking – By the customer

If cancelling a booking more than 14 days in advance of the booked time, a refund can be given for the booking. This will need to be carried out by contacting the Rangers Office.

The booking can be transferred to an alternative date, within the same price band, up to 1 hour before the time of the visit. This action will need to be carried out by contacting the Rangers Office.

Cancellation of a coach/minibus booking – By the Council

The Council reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking without giving any reason. As much notice as possible will be given. Where the Council has cancelled a booking a full refund will be paid. The Council will not be liable for any other expenditure incurred or loss sustained by the customer arising from the cancellation of the booking.

Cancellation of tramper or wheelchair booking – By the customer

The booking can be cancelled or transferred to another date up to 1 hour before the time of the booking. This action can be completed online.

Cancellation of the tramper or wheelchair booking – By the Council

The Council reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking without giving any reason. As much notice as possible will be given. The Council will not be liable for any other expenditure incurred or loss sustained by the customer arising from the cancellation of the booking.

Cancellation of an EVENT booking – By the customer

Cancelling a booking must be done more than 72 hours in advance of the start time of the booked activity. In this instance, a full refund can be given.

If less than 72 hours notice is given, it may be possible to transfer the booking to an alternative event of a similar type depending on circumstances of the cancellation and if the place has been filled.

Cancellation of a weekly CLASS booking – By the customer

If cancelling more than 14 days in advance a full refund can be given. This will need to be carried out by contacting the Rangers office directly.

If cancelling a booking more than 24 hours before the start of the class it will be possible to move the booking to a class of the same type on a different date. This will need to be carried out by contacting the Rangers office directly.

Cancellation of an EVENT or CLASS – By the Council

The Council reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking without giving any reason, to reject an application of membership (to the booking scheme) and to withdraw membership. As much notice as possible will be given.

Where the Council has cancelled a booking a full refund will be paid.

The Council will not be liable for any other expenditure incurred or loss sustained by the customer arising from the cancellation of the booking.
