Question 1 – I have never booked a class before can I use this facility?
Yes you can! Online booking of events and activities is open to everyone. However to start using you will need to register for a PIN number. To receive these please follow the instructions on the Online Booking page.
Question 2 – I have registered for online booking but cannot remember my PIN number. How can I get a reminder?
For a reminder of your PIN number just select the ‘Forgotten your PIN’; option on the Online Booking login page and a reminder will be sent to your registered email address. For a reminder of which email address you have registered or your Member ID please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your name, telephone number and postcode.
Question 3 – I have read the instructions, but would like some extra help with making my booking. Who can I contact?

Question 4 – How far in advance can I make a booking?
Weekly events can be booked up to 63 days (2 months) in advance. Any other activity on the Moors Valley Website can be booked at any time.
Trampers and wheelchairs can be booked 1 month in advance.
Coaches and minibuses can be booked up to 6 months in advance.
Facility hire is not currently available to book online. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the Rangers 01425 480811.
Question 5 – Can I book at any time of day?
Online bookings can be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Telephone bookings and those made in person can be made 7 days a week between 9.30am and 4.30pm only
Question 6 – Is there a limit to the number of bookings I can make per day?
No, as long as all bookings are confirmed by payments (where applicable).
Question 7 – There is a problem with my booking. Who can help me?

Question 8 – Can I make a booking over the phone?
Yes, please Telephone 01425 480811 7days between 9.30am and 4.30pm. An answerphone may be in operation.
Question 9 – How do I cancel an event booking once I have received a confirmation?
Bookings cancelled more than 72 hours before the activity will have a full refund.
This can be cancelled online, first log into your account and go to ‘Manage My Bookings’ and press the cancel icon for the relevant activity.
If less than 72hours, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the Rangers 01425 480811.
Question 10 – How do I alter a booking once I have received a confirmation?
You can alter a booking online, by telephone or at Moors Valley.
If altering a booking online first log into your account and go to Manage Bookings. This will then show you which options are available. Please note alterations to bookings are subject to terms and conditions and are not usually within 5 days of the booking. If the option you require is not available please contact email@example.com or contact the Rangers 01425 480811.
Question 11 – I have tried to login and I now get a message saying my account is now locked and to contact the administrator
As part of the systems security it will automatically lock your account after 3 incorrect attempts to login.
To unlock your account please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org from your registered email address, quoting your Member ID, Name and Postcode and we will unlock your account and reconfirm your details to you.
Question 12 – How do I book my child(ren) on an activity
You will need to register yourself and then book the activity for the children under your name. For family events where young children must be accompanied, you do not need to book the adults attending unless there is a charge for adults.
Question 13 – Do I receive any additional information about the activity/facility I have booked?
All the information you require is on the Moors Valley website, but if you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact the Rangers.
Question 14 – What if Moors Valley cancels the event?
Moors Valley reserves the right to cancel an event. This may be due to unsuitable weather, insufficient numbers on the activity or other reasons. A full refund will be given and a minimum of 24 hours notice will be given, communication will be by email.
Question 15 – Will I be charged extra for paying by card?
There are no additional charges for paying by credit or debit card.
Question 16 – how secure is the payment by card?
All online card payments are protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128 bits, which is the highest level commercially available. Your payment card details are directly processed by the Payment Management Division of Capita Software Services, a leading provider of secure online payments services to local government, and are not collected or accessible by the Council or any other bodies.
Capita Software Services’ online payment management solutions are independently and rigorously security assessed, and are certified by Visa and MasterCard as a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1 payment processor.
