A fun family fair with a countryside theme
Help the Forestry Commission celebrate 100 years of forestry with a fun wood fair for all the family.
Watch demonstrations of traditional forest skills such as pole lathing and hurdle making and purchase a range of wood crafts from our visiting craftspeople.
There will be some big machinery on display.
Join a foraging walk with one of our talented volunteers, timings will be displayed on the day. Hawks in the Forest will also be offering Hawk Walks at 11am and 2pm for £5 per person. Simply sign up on the day to take part or you can have your photo taken with a majestic bird of prey for £2.
There will also be an opportunity to have a go at Archery or try out your Bushcraft skills. Charges apply.
