A guided show and tell of the Ranger Den.

We’re re-open!  

A 1 hour guided show and tell of Ranger Den. 

Some of the regular crowd pleasers such as the Harvest mice, Grass snake and Frogs are joined by some new displays including Microworld looking at life in miniature, and an assortment of carnivorous plants! 

Ending with a fun craft activity and a badge.  

Session dates and times

Sat 24th – Sun 25th October 10.00 – 11.00, 11.30 – 12.30, 13.00 – 14.00, 14.30 – 15.30   

Tues 27th October – Sun 1st November 10.00 – 11.00, 11.30 – 12.30, 13.00 – 14.00, 14.30 – 15.30 

Pre-booking is essential.

COVID-secure measures in place

In line with government guidance we are allowing a maximum of 5 visitors per session from different households (giving a group size of 6 with the ranger).  

Face coverings are required to be worn inside the Ranger Den at all times unless you are under the age of 11 or you have an exemption.  All visitors must respect social distancing guidelines.

The Ranger Den will be accessed via the rear door which is a change from normal. This will mean a short walk over grass and up a shallow ramp which is accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs.  When entering the Ranger Den you will be asked to check in using the NHS COVID-19 app.

Sadly owing to current restrictions no handling of animals will be permitted.  

Whilst the event is held inside, the doors are kept open and there is no heating inside, so please dress accordingly.  

A handwashing point and sanitiser will be available at all times.
