An enhancement of ordinary walking using poles to give you a great upper body workout.
Nordic walking makes something we can all do twice as effective.
The use of poles not only helps incorporate the upper body into the workout, it also helps propel the walker along, meaning they work harder than usual but the support from the poles makes it feel easier.
This course runs for 4 consecutive weeks, on the same day and time each week.
Please meet at the Moors Valley Golf and Activity Centre 10mins before the start time of the activity. Booking essential.
All participants must complete a health questionnaire before they take part in their first activity.
Free parking is provided for this activity.
Once you have completed the course you will gain a competency card which enables you to attend a Nordic Walking UK accredited session anywhere in the UK, with any instructor. You must attend all the sessions to receive your competency card.

Course 1: Wednesdays 22, 29 January, 5, 12 February; 11am to 12pm
Course 2: Mondays 24 February, 2, 9, 16 March; 11.15am to 12.15pm
Course 3: Tuesdays 28 April, 5, 12, 19 May; 11am to 12pm
Course 4: Wednesdays 6, 13, 20 and 27 May; 10.15am to 11:15am
Course 5: Mondays 8, 15, 22 and 29 June; 10.15am to 11.15am
Course 6: Wednesdays 16, 23, 30 September, 7 October; 11am to 12pm
