Nordic Walking 'Learn To' Condensed Course - Moors Valley

An enhancement of ordinary walking using poles to give you a great upper body workout.
Nordic walking makes something we can all do twice as effective.
The use of poles not only helps incorporate the upper body into the workout, it also helps propel the walker along, meaning they work harder than usual but the support from the poles makes it feel easier.
This Learn To course will be condensed into 2 x two hour sessions on consecutive weeks.
Please meet at the Moors Valley Golf and Activity Centre 10mins before the start time of the activity. Booking essential.
All participants must complete a health questionnaire before they take part in their first activity.
Free parking is provided for this activity.
Once you have completed the course you will gain a competency card which enables you to attend a Nordic Walking UK accredited session anywhere in the UK, with any instructor. You must attend all the sessions to receive your competency card.
2020 Course Dates
Course 1: Saturdays 25 January and 1 February; 11am to 1pm
Course 2: Saturdays 2 and 9 May; 11.15am to 1.15pm
Course 3: Saturdays 19 and 26 September; 11.15am to 1.15pm
