A fun, free 5K timed run organised by parkrun volunteers
The course is 5K on a mixture of tarmac paths, loose stone paths and trail paths consisting of one lap that is run in an anti-clockwise direction.
The run is free to take part, but you must register with parkrun before your first run. Once registered you will be given a barcode that you need to print and bring along with you. Do remember your barcode every week – if you forget it, you won’t get a finish time.
Dogs – Runners wishing to run with a dog are welcome, but please keep the dog on a short lead or harness and under control throughout the event.
Children – Children under the age of eleven must be accompanied (within arm’s reach) throughout the run by a parent, guardian or appropriate adult of the parent’s choice.
Buggies – Runners pushing buggies are also welcome, but please take extreme care of other runners around you. If possible start from the back of the field and try to keep to one side of the main body of runners.
