A specialist course for people who want help managing joint pain.
ESCAPE-pain stands for Enabling Self-management and Coping with Arthritic Pain through Exercise.
ESCAPE-pain is a rehabilitation programme that helps people with osteoarthritis (OA) and/or chronic joint pain self-manage their condition. The programme aims to increase physical function and improve quality of life.

The programme runs over six weeks, with participants attending for one hour, twice a week. Each session contains around a 20 minutes discussion focused on helping to support self-management and is followed by about 45 minutes of exercise. The sessions are led by a facilitator trained in how to deliver the ESCAPE-pain programme.
The course will take place at the Golf and Activity Centre, Moors Valley. Please follow signs to park at the Golf Course car park.
Please arrive 5mins before the start time of the session, booking essential. Please give your car registration number in at the Golf Centre when you arrive.

All participants will be required to fill in a short health questionnaire before the start of their first session.
