A fun and friendly 8 week introduction to running with a qualified instructor.
A block of 8 sessions running on consecutive weeks, these sessions are aimed at new runners. Our qualified fitness instructor will support participants through the basic elements of running to gradually build fitness, speed and endurance. These sessions are perfect for people wishing to train up for the Moors Valley 5K parkrun. Once you have completed a block of 8 weeks you are welcome to sign up to more blocks of sessions to keep you running with an instructor or take part in the free volunteer-led running group.

A reduced parking rate of £1.20 applies on Saturday mornings. Please ensure you pay at the paystations before 10.30am and exit the park before 10.45am otherwise the full parking rate applies. Payment at the paystations can be made by cash, Chip and PIN or Contactless.
Please meet at the Information Point in the Visitor Centre 10 minutes before the start time for the activity. Booking essential.
All participants must complete a health questionnaire before they take part in their first activity.

Course 5: Saturdays 24, 31 August, 7, 14, 21, 28 September, 5, 12 October; 9.15am to 10.15am
