Bring a torch and a warm jumper. Children may prefer to wear long trousers if they’re sensitive to an odd scratch or midge bite. You may also wish to bring along some insect repellent.
Participants should wear sensible footwear as the event will include a couple of miles of walking – trainers or wellies are ideal.
