Cycle Hire Reopen

Our Cycle Hire centre reopened on Tuesday 9 June, also including mobility scooter hire.

We have tweaked our procedures to reflect the current guidance and to ensure we are offering a safe process for all of our visitors.

Revised Hire Procedures

• Visitors are advised to respect all social distancing guidance
• Staff will complete all hire forms, with customers only asked to sign – pens will be provided and disinfected after each use
• No deposit is currently required, BUT
• Valid photographic ID, showing your address, is essential for each hire
• Contactless payments are preferred
• You will then be directed to a bike of suitable size and verbally guided through the set up
• We are encouraging everyone to bring their own helmet, however we will have a small selection available for use
• Helmets will be sanitised after each use

Staff will work hard to ensure everyone has an enjoyable bike hire experience and we will change things as needed, however please bear with us as we adapt to these new processes.
