Moors Valley offers an excellent location for day or evening functions from wedding receptions and birthday parties to retirement parties and Christmas functions.

Evening barn hire

With an easily accesible location, plenty of parking and seating for up to 140 people, our beautiful 18th Century barn can be hired for evening functions from 6.30pm to 12midnight.

There are two flexible options for hire; barn hire only or alongside professional catering from Seasons Restaurant.

Room and outdoor area hire

A choice of two indoor spaces can be hired during the day – ‘Rafters‘ or ‘The Stables‘.
A fenced area of the lakeside picnic area is also available to hire for your function; please phone the Rangers for more details.

Charity events

If you are thinking about planning a charity or business event within Moors Valley Country Park and Forest please contact the Rangers to discuss the details:

Written permission must be granted by the land-owning organisation; i.e. the Forestry Commission for events to be held in Moors Valley Forest, and East Dorset District Council for those to be held in the Country Park. For events that will use both areas of Moors Valley, permission must be given by both organisations.
