Play AreaPlay
Moors Valley is a great place for children to play. They can start in the adventure play area with its 8 play pieces for older children including zip slide, space net, pyramid towers and fortress.

Younger children will be enthralled in the adjacent Castle and Sandworks area with its gentle slides, springy animals and swings.

Play TrailPlay Trail
Out in the Forest discover the Play Trail with its 8 unique pieces of wooden play equipment situated on a three quarters of a mile walk. Start on the Wood Ants Nest complete with giant wood ants, walk a little further on you will find the biggest structure on the trail – The Towers and Tunnels, then go down into the Snake Pit with its 2 intertwined wooden snakes to crawl through, stop for a rest or a quick snack on the mushrooms at The Dingle, before tackling the most challenging play structure - Snakes and Ladders II, climb over the Spider’s Web before having a go at the Crocodile Crossing –if you dare.

Why not take a look at the Play Trail now...

Tree Top TrailTree Top Trail
Half way along the Play Trail there is the option to divert onto the Tree Top Trail, this 5metre high wooden walk way takes you for 200metres through the tops of the trees and so allows you to get a real birds eye view of the Forest. The Tree Top Trail walk adds about a quarter of a mile to the Play Trail – don’t worry you wont miss out any of the Play Trail. The play trail is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs but unfortunately the Tree Top Trail is not. Allow at least an hour to complete the Play Trail and Tree Top trail.
