Go Ape Tree Top Adventure

Go Ape is a unique tree-top adventure, based in the UK's most beautiful forests. Moors Valley Go Ape is sure to be a hit. We take one lush, green forest and a healthy dollop of breathtaking scenery; blend it with a smattering of high wires, tricky crossings and wind-in-your-face zip wires and finish off with a liberal dose of people in search of their inner Tarzan.

Take to the trees and speed down zip slides. They’re part of an exciting course of rope bridges, Tarzan swings and crossings; all set up to 120 feet above the forest floor. The result is spectacular. The Go Ape experience gets you outdoors in the fresh air and above all it’s just great fun. Ideal for friends and families… you’ll share around 3 hours of fun and adventure going ape up in the trees.

Can I Go Ape?

Go Ape is a popular challenge for people of all ages. However, there are some restrictions.
Minimum age: 10yrs
Minimum height: 1m 40cm / 4ft 7inches
Maximum weight: 20.5 stones / 130kg
Supervising children: Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult. One participating adult can supervise EITHER two children (where one or both of them is under 16 years old) OR up to five 16-17 year olds. Adults must sign a disclaimer for their group.

Not old or tall enough for Go Ape?
Adventurous children under 10yrs or 1m 40cm can go instead on the Tree Top Junior course.

2012 Opening times

Saturday 11th – Sunday 19th February (closed Tuesday 14th)
Weekends from Saturday 25th February – Sunday 18th March
Daily from Friday 23rd March – Sunday 28th October (closed Tuesdays during term time), plus open weekends throughout November.
