Cycle hire
Follow waymarked cycle routes, make your own route along the many miles of gravel tracks or explore beyond the boundaries of Moors Valley. Mountain bikes in all sizes along with trailers, tag-a-longs and child seats are available to hire everyday of the year (except 25th Dec).
Availability
From 9.30am to 3.00pm. All bikes must be returned by 4.30pm (later in the summer). It is not possible to reserve bikes in advance; they are available on a first come first served basis.
Requirements
Proof of identity is essential (photo ID card, driving licence or credit card).
Deposit: £10.00 per family – CASH or CHEQUE ONLY
Please be aware that loss or damage to any cycle or trailer is the hirer’s responsibility and any damages must be paid for.

Please note: price of hiring trailers, tag-a-longs and child seats does not include hire of the bicycle. Child seats and tag-alongs are attached using specific bolt-on frames on the rear of the bicycle so can only be fitted to hire bikes.
Ranger-led cycle events
The Rangers organise many cycle rides throughout the year, from introductory courses for adults who want to get back in the saddle to more demanding off-road events for regular riders. They also run mountain bike events for children during the school holidays. Please look at the events page for details of forthcoming cycle events by date.
