An introduction into cycle maintenance, aimed at giving you the skills to fix and repair the obvious things that can go wrong with a bike on a ride, such as a flat tyre or a chain falling off, and the peace of mind that you can get home.

Cycle Ride - Upton Country Park and Trailway Level 2 Moderate
Ranger-led cycle rides for adults
Approximately 7 to 9 miles including some hills and harder terrain. Using the Country Park to start our cycle up the Trailway towards Wimborne. We return on the same route then meander around Poole Bay on a traffic free cycle parh. Refreshments at the cafe in the Country Park

A 3 day course designed to help adults regain confidence on a bicycle. We find you the right size bike and helmet, explain how to use the gears and remind you how to ride before a leisurely cycle ride around the Forest where we can offer advice in a relaxed atmosphere.

Postponed from last winter, this walk starts in Fiddleford by the old Manor House and heads out to Okeford Fitzpaine. Most of the terrain is farmland and footpaths. We return via Piddles Wood.

Starting in the village of Burley we head out across Wilverley Plain towards Brockenhurst. We then head north thro Beechen Wood up to Bolderwood drive and down into Anderwood Enclosure before returning for a well earned lunch.

Bikeability - Level 2
Ranger-led cycle rides for adults
'Cycling proficiency for the 21st Century'! As well as being good fun, Bikeability also gives you the skills and confidence to cycle in modern road conditions. In conjunction with Ferndown Leisure Centre this course will be led with National Standard Cycle Instructors and are certified through this National Scheme.
This 3 day course takes you onto the roads with traffic where you can gain practical experience in all aspects of road safety and the Highway Code. This will be done in ashley Heath, close to the Park.
