Ranger-led Educational Visits

During term time from April to September, the Rangers offer a range of environmental activities for schools and groups. You can choose from a variety of activities that all aim to foster a greater appreciation and understanding of our local environment, through enjoyable 'hands on' experiences.

All sessions need to be booked in advance by contacting the Rangers. To find out the availability of date for a visit please contact the education ranger by calling 01425 470721.

Self-led Visits

Groups and schools are welcome to make self-led visits to Moors Valley and use the facilities as normal - popular choices are the Play Trail and play areas, the Moors Valley Railway or the permanent orienteering course in the forest.

Instead of paying for a Ranger you will need to pay for your coach, minibus and/or car parking; this is equivalent to an admission charge for your group. Coaches and minibuses must be booked in advance, please call the Rangers on 01425 470721.
